Doris Mae Ramsey Morgan, 81, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. A native of Forsyth County, she was born January 11, 1936, to the late Bill Ramsey and Lillie Mae Hancock. She was the widow of Fred G. Morgan.
Mrs. Morgan attended Forsyth County Schools and retired from Carolina Narrow Fabric after 40 years of employment. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Clarise Ramsey Pyrtle. Those left to cherish her memory are three sons, John Henry Temples of Walkertown, Sammy O’neal Temples (Candie) of Clemmons and Terry Allen Temples of Tobaccoville; one daughter, Lonie Patricia Temples of Clemmons; one sister, Stella Smith of Davie Co.; five grandchildren, Michelle Crider, Tristan Temples, Beth Lopez, Riley Temples and TJ Temples and six great grandchildren.
The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Emmanuel Baptist Church (1505 Lewisville-Clemmons Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012) with Pastor Lloyd Taylor, Sr. officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be sent to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, Winston-Salem.
