I have lots of great memories of Uncle Bill. Although I am not blood kin, my sister and I referred to him as our uncle for all the love and care he showed to our family and great friendship with my father. My specific memories are of several beach vacation trips our family shared with him. Uncle Bill loved to walk on the beach. I remember rooming with him and trying to beat him to sleep before his tremendous snoring started! Uncle Bill's commitment and dedication to his Heavenly Father, his family and his work are inspiring to all. Finally my last specific memory of Uncle Bill was of him singing "There's Something About That Name" at Christ Chapel United Methodist Church with Aunt Blue Bell accompanying him on the piano. I image now Uncle Bill has a face to put with the name of Jesus.

Uncle Bill wasn't just an uncle, he was my friend. I grew up in the same house with him and cherished every moment we had together. Macie started sending me videos she had of him the other night and that laughter will never be duplicated. He brought so much laughter to any situation with his silliness. Those silly faces he would make behind grandpa's back when grandpa was fussing about something or how he taught me to stick out my tongue and would deny it when I would get in trouble for it. He did it with my girls as well and I thank God for those memories. Those silly memories that make someone unique, unforgettable. We've had alot of talks through the years and alot of promises made to each other, I will always cherish. I love you uncle Bill and I always will. ❤️
