William Albert McMahan known by everyone as “Mac”, age 90, of Lexington, N.C. passed away November 3, 2020 at his home.
Mr. McMahan was born on December 7, 1929 in Davidson Co. the son of Frank McMahan and Lizzie Mariah Hoffman McMahan.
Mr. McMahan was a mechanic for PPG Industries for 45 years. He attended Reeds School. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lizzie McMahan, five brothers, Hayden, Charlie, Edgar, Elmer and Carl McMahan, three sisters, Mary Koontz, Louise Foster, and Lois Kepley.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Cora Martin McMahan , a son, Martin McMahan of Lexington, two daughters, Patricia Garner (Dwight) of Lexington, Wilma Gray (Eddie) of Lexington, a sister Rose Wade of Lexington, ten grandchildren, Jennifer Hunt (Brian), Jessica Garner (Adam), Daniel Gray (Somer), Aaron Gray (Tiffany), Laura Gobble, Candace Erford (Robby), Brian Sechrest (Shelley), Steven Sechrest (Jessica), Jason Gray (Sawyer) and Caitlin Cartrette, eleven great-grandchildren, Brooks, Brady, Courtney, Makynlee, Davis, Duke, Shiloh, Eli, Penelope, Chase, Hayden and Jayden.
A graveside service with military honors will be held November 5, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Billy Louya officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Freedom Baptist Church building fund, 118 Cornatzer Rd., Mocksville, N.C., 27028.

We could never thank you enough for the love, care and comfort you have shown our dad.
