Vernon Gray Davis

Vernon Gray Davis, 82, died on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at his home with loved ones by his side A native of Davie County, a son born to the late Ernie Gillian Davis and Sarah Ratledge Davis on December 9, 1937.

Vernon attended school in Davie County. He served as a Veteran in the Air Force for over twenty years. He retired from PPG where he worked as a Maintenance mechanic for a little over seventeen years.

He leaves behind a very caring and loving wife of fifty-one years, Mrs. Susan Marie Miller Davis; a special son, Shane Barber of Texas; a daughter, Stacey Kulka (Sean) of Georgia, a special daughter, Shannon Cope (Mitch); a sister, Yvonne Richardson of Mocksville; and one grandchild, Carter James of Georgia.

No services are scheduled at this time.
