Timothy Scott Motley, 64, died Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A native of Davidson County, Timothy was born April 2, 1956, a son to the late couple, Glenn Allen Motley and Betty Jean Brown Crotts Motley. He is preceded by only his parents.

Timothy was a graduate from Lexington City Schools. He worked in the automotive repair business for more than forty years as Diesel Mechanic for Piedmont Peterbilt.

Timothy leaves behind two sons, Justin Motley of Archdale, Josh Motley (Amanda) of Lexington; A daughter, Lindsay MCLain (David) of Lexington; three brothers, Kenneth Motley (Nancy), Martin Motley, Chris Crotts; and a sister, Vanessa Keith (Tom) all of Lexington; five grandchildren, Tristan &  Branson McLain, Chance & Lane Hailey, Mason Lilly.

Due to the COVID-19, the family will be holding a small private graveside service.
