Sylvia Ann (Chandler) Freeman

Sylvia Ann Chandler Freeman, age 84, of Lexington passed away on September 12, 2022 at Hinkle Hospice House.

Mrs. Freeman was born on July 7,1938 in Iredell County to Lewis Chandler and Kate Chandler Midkiff.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Kate Chandler, , a daughter Judy Cutcher, two sisters, Doris Vincent and Maxine Lackey and a brother Aubrey (Curly) Chandler.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband David Laws, two sons Phillip Parks (Nadine) of Thomasville, Daniel “Vince” Freeman (Jennifer) of Lexington, one daughter Tammy Gray (Glenn) of Tyro, four grandchildren, Vince Lee Freeman, Izac Daniel Freeman, Phillip Walker, Cassie Walker, other grandchild and one great grandchild on the way, Nephews Jack Reid (Renee), Timothy Chandler and Tony Chandler.

Mrs. Freeman attended Davidson Co. Community College.  She was in the Furniture Business and was Cabinet Room Supervisor. She worked for Henry Link for thirty- five years. She was a very friendly person, hardworking and dedicated to her job. She would help everyone she could. She loved her kids and grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
