Shirley Garrison Obituary

Shirley Janice Garrison, 85, passed away at Hinkle Hospice House on April 25, 2022.

Mrs. Garrison was born in Davidson County on April 18, 1937, to Harvey Garner Fritts and Daisy Lee Wrenn Fritts.

She was a retired Beautician. She attended Reeds High School and was a member of Spruce Street Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Garrison was preceded in death by beloved husband Earnest Garrison, a daughter, Dawn Swing and her brother, Eddie Fritts.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son Charles Garrison (Jamie) of Linwood, two daughters Nancy Ellenburg (Brian) and Shirley James (Melvin) both of Lexington, a sister-in-law, Ruby Long of Lexington, eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren , one great-great grandchild and special friends Betty Livengood, Lenora Jackson, Julia Hopkins and Tino Martinez.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
