Obituary
Sherera, “Diane” Prim, 73 of Lexington died on January 16, 2023 at home.
She was born August 18, 1949 in Mecklenburg County to Homer Grant Prim and Edna Louise Gurley Prim.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Raymond.
Ms. Prim leaves behind two brothers Joel Edward of Fort Mill, SC; Roger Dean of Monroe, NC; two sisters Patricia Ann Baker of Rock Hill. Katheryn Dale Barker of Lexington, Kentucky and her special friends and caregivers Jeffery & Linda Michael of Lexington and caregiver, neighbor and friend Cheryl Bell of Trinity, NC.
She attended Salvation Army School for Officers. Ms. Prim worked in the trucking industry as a manager for Shelba Johnson Trucking. Diane enjoyed going to Beaufort camping, fishing, and doing fundraising for Relay for Life. She was of the Baptist Faith and attended Trinity Baptist Church in Trinity, N.C.
Diane requested no services. She wanted her family & friends to remember the good times that they had. She had requested that memorials be made to Hospice-Novant Health Rowan, 1229 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC. 28144
