Robert Ragan Poston, 69, of Lexington died early Tuesday morning, April 28, 2020 at Hinkle Hospice House in Davidson County.  A native of Guilford County, he was born on the fifth day of November in 1950. A son to the late couple Banks Poston and Elizabeth Ragan Poston. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one aunt, Rader Poston.

Robert attended Appalachian State University. For more than twenty years he was self employed working in the wholesale industry to provide for his family.  Robert was a member at High Point Quaker Church in Guilford County, North Carolina.

He leaves behind a wife of sixteen years, Mrs. Barbara Poston of Lexington; two sons, Robert R. Poston Jr. of Raleigh, Christopher W. Whitley (Cassie) of Kernersville; four grandchildren, Abigail, Chandler, Presley, and Connor.

In order to abide with the laws of the COVID-19, no services will be scheduled at this time.
