Robert Eugene Bennett Jr.

Robert Eugene Bennett Jr., 75 died on Saturday August 3, 2019, at Hinkle Hospice House in Davidson County. A native of Danbury, Connecticut, born August 30, 1943 the son of the late Robert E. Bennett Sr. and Eva Keith. He was preceded in death by parents, a wife, Sandy Hulse, two brothers, Dennis Magoon and George Holister, a sister, Beverly Cook, and a step-mother, Winifred Bennett

In Danbury, Connecticut, Robert retired from the Industrial business where he worked as a security guard for more than twenty years. He worked as a firefighter at the local fire station in his hometown of Danbury for more than twenty-five years. Robert also served in the Marine Corp.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are a son, Robert E. Bennett III of Lexington; two daughters, Elizabeth Viayphonh of Lexington, Roberta Bennett of Greensboro; two brothers, Larry Bennett and Tommy Holister both of Connecticut; two sisters, Barbara Machia of Fort Richie, Florida, Linda Nasse of Connecticut, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
