Rita Faye (Handy) Anderson

Rita Faye Handy Anderson, age 63 of Thomasville passed away on August 1, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina on October 26, 1957, to Mack Charlie Handy and Merle Watson Blevins.  She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for Hilltop Healthcare for twenty years.  She attended Davidson Co. Community College. She enjoyed her Grandbabies, kids, family and taking care of others. Her favorite flower was the sunflower.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Charlie Handy, Bobby Handy, Billy Handy and one sister, Virginia Watson.  

Left to cherish her memory are her partner of 20 years, Bobby Lee Trieglaff, one son Charles Handy (Chastity) of Lexington, two daughters,  Melissa Jones (Shannon) of Yadkinville, Cora Anderson (Josh Dotson) of Lexington, two brothers, James Handy of Elkin, Chris Mchargue of Statesville, three sisters, Tina Lambert of Sparta, Patsy Lail of Sparta, Angie Cartledge of Statesville, eight grandchildren, J.J., Chazz , Dylan ,  Jade , Ashlynn , Ariel , Jackson , Isabella , four step-children, Barbara Allen and her children, (Brittany, Danielle , Hannah ), Julie Benge (Eric), and their children, (Brandon,  Kaye Lynn ), Allen Trieglaff (Jerona) and their children, (Justin , Tray, Lee)  Candi Lewis (Tony) and their children, (Dylan, Noah , Preston , Megan ) and also her dog, Shadow.

Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 3:00pm - Freedom Baptist Church - Preacher Clyde Akers officiating.
