Priscilla Ann Johnson Bauguss

Priscilla Ann Johnson Bauguss, 76, of Lexington, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 8 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Priscilla was born September 13, 1943 in the Hanestown community of Forsyth County to Monroe Wesley and Sally Fay Adams Johnson. She was married on June 28, 1964 to her soul mate and caregiver, Donald Ray Bauguss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, and a brother (Arnold).
Surviving are her husband of 56 years and their four children, Darin (Angie) of Lexington, Samantha of Cornelius, Dean of Cornelius, and Jennifer of Lexington. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Jessie (Chad), Katie (David), Kimberly, Aaron, Cameron, Hannah, Matthew, Evan and granddog Deacon; as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Michael, Carter, Lucy, Libby and soon-to-be-born great-grandson; two sisters, Frances Ader of Lexington and Wanda Linville of Winston-Salem; a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins; best friends, Jean Harvey, Doris Sykes and Shirley Leonard; and many of her children’s friends whom she loved like her own.
Priscilla graduated from RJ Reynolds High School in 1961. Throughout her life, she worked a variety of jobs, including as a nurse and a school bus driver, but none made her even more proud than her role as mother and homemaker. When asked, she always listed spending time with her family as her favorite hobby. Other hobbies included sewing, baking, gardening, music, and traveling. She had an incredibly strong faith and found unending joy in encouraging others by sharing her love for Jesus.
Friends and family will gather on a future date to celebrate her life.
