Ollie Edward Lynch, 71, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Davidson County. He was a native of Hollister, North Carolina, born on April 3, 1948, to the late couple Ollie Lynch and Linda Marie Richardson Lynch. Along with parents he is preceded in death by wife, Leona Tyree Lynch, two grandsons, Colton Jackson, Nickolas Owens
Ollie worked in the furniture industry as a dryer operator at Gordon Veneer for more than twenty-two years. Ollie was a simple man who loved life and he loved his family. He was of Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish his memory are three daughters, Bettina Lynch Gutierrez (Oscar) of Lexington, Amy Denise Owens (Terry) of Lexington, Angela Lynch Mayorga (Fernando) of Indiana; a sister, Mary Warner of West Virginia, nine grandchildren, Amanda, Deseree, Sierra, Chris, Selena, Damien, Ashley, Brittney, Ember; and nineteen great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM. At Freedom Baptist Church, with a private family service starting at 1:00 PM. Clyde Akers will be officiating.
