Milford Roger Norman Jr

Milford “Roger” Norman Jr, age 60 of Lexington has passed away on June 2, 2021 at his home with his wife Gail by his side.

Roger was born in Guilford County, NC on March 11, 1961. He attended North Davidson High School. He worked as a pipe layer for Nifong Construction for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Milford Norman Sr and Rachel Payne. Also preceded in death by his paw best friend “Abby”.

He was a biker at heart and loved his Harley Davidsons. He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan and loved to spend time with his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Gail of 20 years, three sons, Chris (Regina), Jason (Ashley) and Josh (Crystal) all of Lexington.  He also had two daughters Amanda & Angel.  

He has 3 stepchildren that meant a lot to him, Rocky (Brooke), Doranna and Dusty.

He had three sisters, Donna, Teresa and Brenda, one brother Wayne, and a very special stepdad, Charles.

He had some special grandchildren that he held very dear to him. Felicity, Hailie, Brooklyn, Jordyn, Harley, Senyah, Heather, Natalie, Kayla, Cameron, Destiny, Aaron, Christopher, Jerimyah, Jaydon, Vincent, Leland, Sassy, Lyncha, E.J, Isiah Junior and Aaliyah. He was an amazing grandfather to them. He and Sassy had an unbreakable bond.

He also had a host of family and friends that he loved very much!

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 7, 2021 at 1pm at Davie Burial and Cremations of Lexington’s Chapel, with the Rev. Tim Sink officiating.  The family will receive visitors and friends from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
