Michael Franklin Turner

Michael F Turner, 73 of Cooleemee passed away. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his residence.

He was born February 15, 1951 in Durham Co, North Carolina, to the late Alford and Mildred Chapel Turner.

Mike worked at Kosa Manufacturing for 25 years and due to his illness, he had to retire.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cooleemee.  He was a strong and compassionate man.  He loved his home in Cooleemee.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sharon Lankford Turner; a sister, Susan Turner of Durham; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members whom he loved dearly; and his beloved cat, Gracie.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
