Michael John Maltese Jr

Michael John Maltese Jr, 42, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center.

He was born August 4, 1982 in Hackensack, New Jersey to Michael John Maltese Sr and the late Elaine Karen Preusch Maltese.

Survivors include his father, Mike Maltese Sr; brother, Philip Maltese (Lina Bennett); niece, Emery Maltese; nephew, Hunter Bennett; an aunt, Maryann Kantor; uncle and aunt, Ron and Carolyn Szymanski; and his cousin, John Luterzo.

He preceded in death by his mother.

He was a die-hard Jets fan. He loved his video games and enjoyed a good laugh.  His carefree personality left its mark on anybody that had the pleasure of meeting him. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help offset funeral expenses.

The family will have a memorial service on Saturday, September 7, 2024..
