Matthew Todd Kimbrell

Matthew “Todd” Kimbrell, 53, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2023 at Oak Forest Health and Rehab in Winston Salem.

Todd was born in Davidson County, North Carolina, on November 18, 1970, to Wilbur Stokes Kimbrell Jr. and Helen Younts Kimbrell.

Todd graduated from West Davidson High School and attended Davidson County Community College.  He was employed as a Brick Mason for Kimbrell Construction and was a member of Psalm 91 church in Lexington.

He was proceeded in death by his father.

Those left to cherish his memory is his mother, Helen Kimbrell and his son, Matthew “Barrett” Kimbrell.

He also had a love for his 2 dogs, O’malley and Foxy and his cat LL’s.

The family would like to say a special thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Health and all the staff at Oak Forest Health and Rehab.  A special thank you to a special friend, Breeze Hodges.
