Mary Louise Ellison, 88, passed away August 5, 2023 at the Hinkle Hospice House.
Mrs. Ellison was born on May 30 1935, in Whiteville, NC, to the late Arthur Scott Livingston and Edna Mae Cox.
She worked for many years as a waitress and later as a nursing assistant.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and three brothers William, David and Clyde Livingston, one sister Betty Lou Piver, two sons Ray and Gary Norris, two grandchildren Kylie Norris and William James.
Left to cherish her memory are three sons Elbert Norris (Barbara) of Salisbury, Terry Norris (Tanya) of Lexington, Michael Norris of Lexington, five daughters Letha James of Lexington, Ila Boswell of Tabor City, Geraldine Adams of Thomasville, Pamela Morris of Moncks Corner, SC, Vanessa Joye (Chuck) of Wilmington, NC, thirty - four grandchildren, sixty one great-grandchildren and fifty four great-great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2: 00pm at Davie Burial & Cremation Chapel in Lexington, with Pastor Jeremiah Beasley officiating the service. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00pm.
