Mary Frances (Shoaf) Byerly

Mary Frances Byerly, 92, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 8, 2019. Mary was a native of Davidson County, born on September 10, 1927. She was a daughter to the late Fred Modlin Shoaf and Etta Fritz. Preceding her in death along with parents are a husband, Donald Jackson Byerly, a grandson, Anthony Byerly, and daughter-in-law Kathy Byerly.

Mary graduated from Linwood School. She worked as a server in the clothing industry at Manhattan Shirt Factory for more than twenty years. Mary was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Freddie Byerly of Lexington; a grandchild, Kelly Byerly; and a caretaker, Lynn Mouyious.

Family is receiving friends and loved ones on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM in the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation in Lexington. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Pilgrim Reformed Cemetery in Lexington. Rev Timothy Sink will be officiating.
