Lois Gaynell Abell Burch, 75, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 at her home with her family by her side.
Lois was born in Pulaski, Virginia, on January 17, 1948, to the late Ralph Cleveland Abell and Virgie Lee Parker Abell.
Mrs. Burch retired from the Mayflower Trucking Company. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Mocksville, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Lee Burch; one daughter, Ida Lee Burch; and two grandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memory is her three sons, Harry Andd Burch Jr., John Paul Burch, Steven Matthew Burch; three daughters, Angela Lee Terry (Henry Hughes), Lisa Michelle Brown (Robert), Diana Lynn Burch (Kevin Ritchie); one brother, Roland Abell (Charlotte); two sisters, Brenda Mock, Joyce Windsor; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The family will have a gathering of family and friends on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Davie Burial and Cremation Chapel, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following the visitation at 2:00pm, with Pastor Darrell Cox, officiating the service.
