Linda Ann (Gunter) Sidden

Linda Ann Gunter Sidden, 79, of Mocksville, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Willowbrook Rehab and Care Center in Yadkinville, North Carolina.

Linda was born in Forsyth County, NC, on January 8, 1946, to the late Lindsay Raymond Gunter and Doris Speer. 

She enjoyed putting her puzzles together, working her puzzle books and crosswords.  She enjoyed traveling and exploring new places.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Clinton Sidden; two brothers, Steve Gunter and Wayne "Cricket" Gunter.

Survivors include her two sons, Gary Sidden (Cindy), Roger Sidden (Lisa); brother, Terry Gunter (Carlina); four sisters, Marie Melrose, Brenda Settles, Betsy Shores (Lee), Becky Mauldin (Johnny); eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

The family will have a memorial graveside service, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 1:00pm, at Gospel Baptist Church, 1540 Main Church Rd Ext, Mocksville, NC 27028. Following the graveside service, the family will have a time of remembrance at the church.

The family would like to give special thanks to the CNA's and all of the staff at Willowbrook for the care, love, and support shown to Linda during her stay and declining health.

The family asks that memorials be made to Dementia Research.
