Linda Mae (Koontz) Goins

Linda Mae Koontz Goins, age 79 of Lexington, N.C. passed away July 21, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Mrs. Goins was born on June 26, 1941 in Davidson County, the daughter of the late Earlie Leonard Koontz Sr. and Willie Mae Clement Koontz. 

Mrs. Goins was a Certified Nursing Assistant and an employee  of Brookstone Assisted Living in Lexington for three years.. She attended North Davidson High School

She was preceded in death by her parents, Early and Willie Mae Koontz a twin brother, Earlie L. Koontz Jr. and a brother, John Gilbert.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Andy Goins of the home, two sons, Ricky Goins of Lexington, Brian Goins of Lexington, a daughter, Ginger Moore (Ray) of Lexington, two grandchildren, Jennifer Thompson (Joe) and Jessica Moore, and seven great grandchildren;  Terani Thompson, Taylor Bennet, Diante Thompson, LaDarius Fant, Kyarah Littlejohn, Alyssa Thompson Rowe and Kayden Millner.
