Larry Lee Owensby

Larry Lee Owensby 58 years old, passed away October 25, 2021 at his home in Mooresville.

Larry was born June 27, 1963, to James Junior Owensby and Geraldine Miles Owensby in Fredricksburg Va., in Spotsylvania County.

Mr. Owensby had his own construction business making cabinets. He was of the Baptist faith.  Mr. Owensby loved people and would give you the shirt off his back.  He was always smiling. Larry enjoyed being a grandpa and also liked to tinker with mechanics.

He was proceeded in death by his parents James and Geraldine Owensby and one brother: James Curtis Owensby.

Mr. Owensby   leaves behind his beloved wife Sarah JoAnn Miller Owensby. one son: Curtis Lee Edward Owensby (Amanda) of Tyro, two daughters: Christine Elizabeth Owens (Derrick) of Lexington, Sabrina Dawn Lindloff (Anthony) of Lexington, one brother: Donald Owensby (Teresa) of Mooresville, one sister: Diane Voncannon of Lexington, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There will be a private viewing for the family on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Trinity Wesleyan Church in Salisbury from 10-10:30am, then family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00am. Service will begin at 11:00am with Rev. Leroy Hart officiating.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington at 1:00pm.
