Karen Louise (Leonard) Goins

Karen Louise Goins, 51 of Lexington died on February 13, 2023 at her home.

She was born May 5, 1971 in Davidson Co. to Fred Leonard and Irma Watkins Leonard.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Randy.

Mrs. Goins leaves behind her husband Bobby Goins, two sons Brandon Lee Goins Nancy Nicole Newsome of Lexington, Adam Dustin Goins, one brother Charles Lee Leonard (Kim) of Lexington, two sisters Diane Testerman of Lexington, Sharon Wilson (Tracy) of Lexington, three grandchildren Maylee, Jaxon, Madelyn and stepdad Jimmy King (Donna).

Mrs. Goins attended Lexington High School. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church. Karen was a good cook, and the sweetest woman who loved her grandkids.  She had the best sense of humor.

Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church at 10:00am, Pastor James Messer officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00am -10:00am. Burial to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
