John Lester Nance

John Lester Nance, age 66 of Sophia, N.C. passed away February 28, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Mr. Nance was born on February 6, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio. the son of the late Robert Ellsworth and Lucille Geneva McCarty Nance.

Mr. Nance was a Supervisor for Swaco Solid Waste for 25 years. He attended Teays Valley High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lucille Nance, and one sister, Linda Morgan.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Debra Hardin Nance, two sons, John Eric Nance  of Ohio, Charles Dayton Coffey (Ashley)) of Lexington, two daughters, Jennifer Lynette Rogers (Kenneth), of Ohio, Aimee Patricia Styles (Charles) of Thomasville,  two brothers, Dennis Nance of Ohio, Robert Nance of Florida, three sisters, Kathy Chenkovich (Mike), of Virginia, Vicki Reed (Tilton) of Ohio, Iris Dresbach (Fred) of Florida, eight grandchildren, Blake Rogers, Isabella Nance, Haley Brittany, Michael, Mitchell Morrison, Avaree (Styles)
