Joe Wayne Watson, 73 years old, passed away October 17, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.
Joe was born on April 5, 1948, to Glenn R.C. Watson and Mary Helen Williamson Watson in Mecklenburg Co., NC.
Mr. Watson worked in Maintenance as a Fork Lift Operator for Universal Forest Products of Salisbury for eighteen years. He attended school in California. He attended Summerville Baptist Church in Denton. He also served our country in the U.S. Marines.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Glenn and Mary Watson.
Mr. Watson leaves behind his beloved wife Marjorie Watson. One son: David Watson (Mary) of Lexington. Two Step-Sons: Kevin Everhart (Brenda) of Denton, Todd Everhart (Penny) of Costa Mesa, CA. Four Step-Daughters: Angela Nelson (Jeff) of Denton, Teresa Everhart (Brian) of Greensboro, Wendy Garner (Scottie) of Denton, Pamela Patterson (Jeremy) of Greensboro. One sister: Pat Ross of Eureka, CA. Grandchildren: Stephen Watson (Makala), Samantha Woodard (Robert), Dallas Watson, Tiffany Mann (David), Johnathan Everhart (Taylor), Adam Buie (Marigayden), Alex Buie, Matthew Garduno, Desiree Colozzo (Joey), Skylar Pacheco, Keegan Garner (Tom), Dakota Garner (Madison), Nicholas Sabia (Cassandra), Avery Patterson, Emery Patterson. Great-Grandchildren: Amara & Robert Jr. Woodard, Logan & Lisa Mann and Benjamin & Chloe Colozzo.
