Jimmy David Charles

Jimmy David Charles, 73, of Lexington passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at his home with his family.

Jimmy was born August 31, 1948, in Davidson County. He attended Davidson County Schools. He was supervisor at Lexington Furniture for forty-eight years. Mr. Charles was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. He loved auctions and piddling with things.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, and a sister: Shirley Wood.

Mr. Charles leaves behind his loving wife, Lisa Charles, two sons: Roger Charles of Lexington, Jerry Charles (Tricia) of Lexington, a step-son: Terry Allen (Cassie) of Lexington, a brother: Johnny Charles of Lexington, one sister: Joyce Lanier of Archdale, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held November 28, 2021 at 2:00pm at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.

Memorials can be made to Galilee Missionary Baptist church or to Hospice of Davidson County.
