Jamie Huffman

Jamie Evon Huffman, age 55, of Denton passed away on March 14, 2021 at Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County.

Mrs. Huffman was born on August 19, 1965 in Davidson County to Jaffie Cletus and Ida Rea Welborn Hughes.  

She was a bus driver for Davidson County Schools for many years. She drove for Stoner Thomas School and her main passion was helping children with special needs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jaffie and Ida Hughes.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary Huffman, a daughter, Julie Floyd of Lexington, a brother, Jaffie Cletus Hughes, Jr. (Betty) of Raleigh, N.C.
