James Lee Shaw

James Lee Shaw, 66, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022.

He was born July 10, 1956 in Davidson County to Jay Shaw and Peggy Jordan Shaw.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Shaw leaves behind a daughter Joy Everhart (Kenneth) of Lexington, two brothers Mike Shaw and Steve Shaw both of Lexington. He has two grandchildren Payton Everhart and Morgan Everhart.

He worked in the food industry as a meat cutter for Winn Dixie/Food Lion for thirty years. He attended Lexington Senior High. Mr. Shaw was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed drag racing and being a caregiver.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service for James on September 29, 2022 at Galilee Baptist Church Cemetery at 11am, with Pastor Darrell Worley officiating . Gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Davie Burial & Cremations of Lexington Chapel from 6:00pm – 7:00pm.

Family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Galilee Baptist Church.
