James David Kidd

James David Kidd “JD”, 35, of Lexington, North Carolina passed away on August 21, 2023.

Mr. Kidd was born August 19, 1988, in Davidson County, North Carolina to Vicky Carol Kidd.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Smith and his grandpa Giles Alexander.

Mr. Kidd worked as a tattoo artist, where he owned his own business.  He attended North Davidson and Central Davidson High Schools.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Vicky Carol Alexander (Jimmy); one son, Dante Kidd; two daughters, Lexis Kidd and KaRma Kidd; one brother, Chris Reddy; two sisters; Tiffany Stiltner (Adam) and Lindsay Oxley-Alexander (Daniel); two nieces, Dixie Oxley and Chasity Oxley; and two nephews, Eli Oxley and Vallmore Oxley-Alexander.

The family will have a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, August 31, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Davie Burial and Cremation Chapel in Lexington.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
