JD Milsap, 90, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at his home in Lexington.
Mr. Milsap was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on April 6, 1933, to the late Joseph Ray Milsap and Lela Green Milsap
He was proceeded in death by his parents and one grandson, Noah Cox.
Mr. Milsap served in the United States Navy from 1952 t0 1956. He fought in the Korean War.
J D graduated from Arkansas Schools and was a retired Line Worker in the Textile Industry. He was a member of Linwood Baptist Church in Lexington.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shirley Milsap; son Christopher Milsap (Anita); two daughters, Annette Thomason, (Greg), Tammy Cox (Jerry); eight grandchildren, Josh, Jessie, Jamie, Tammy Jo, Abby, Hannah, Corri, Kinsey; and nine great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside memorial service on, Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 2:00pm, at the Salisbury National Cemetery.
