Irene "Rennie" (Wilson) Myers

Irene Rennie Wilson Myers, 87 passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 12, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Daniel Albert Myers and her parents, Benjamin “Jack” and Edna Maria Barnhardt Wilson; her sister, Frankie Walser, her brother, Jim Wilson; one son and daughter in law Barry and Linda Chunn.

Rennie was a loving wife, mother, grandma and granny.  She enjoyed her time working her small garden until she wasn’t able to.  Then she spent her time working puzzles and taking care of her flowers and hummingbirds.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include three sons, Mark Chunn of Linwood, Brad (Crystal) Chunn of Lexington, Danny Myers of Salisbury; three daughters, Patricia (John) Jacobs of Salisbury, Dannell (Derek) Martin of Linwood, and Louise (Jack) Powell of Tennessee. Thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 11:00am at Davie Burial and Cremation Chapel of Lexington.
