Ida Diane (Sparks) Hill

Ida Diane Sparks Hill, 61, of Lexington, NC, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born June 4, 1963, in Tazwell, Virginia, to the late Elmer Sparks and Manzie Kathleen Sparks.

Ida was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, three sisters, and one grandson.

She is survived by her husband, Toby John Hill; two sons, Shane Davis (Tonya), Christopher Hill; two daughters, Amber McIntyre (Alton), Destiny Hill; two brothers, Clyde Sparks, Gilbert Sparks; three sisters, Evelyn Klass, Mary Spivey, Sue Climes; and seven grandchildren.

Ida was a member of The Spirit of Life Ministries in High Point, NC and worked as a Security Guard in the Trucking Industry.

The family will have a time of visitation with family and friends, on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Davie Burial and Cremation Chapel, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following the visitation at 1:00pm.  Rev. Brent Oneal will be officiating.  Burial will take place at Holly Hill Cemetery in Thomasville, NC.
