Henry Jack Conner, 87, has made his final journey home on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Henry was a native of Davidson County, born on October 4, 1932 to the late William C. Conner and Ollie Lou Shoaf Conner. He is preceded in death by parents, a daughter, Jackie Tysinger, three sisters, a brother, and one granddaughter, Sara Conner.
Henry, known as “Jack” attended Reeds School as a child. He worked as a dispatcher/ EMT for Davidson County for more than twenty-five years. Jack was a Veteran in the National Guard. Jack was full of life and loved people. He never looked at his careers as a job, only a chance to help others and serve his country or hometown. He was a member of Good Hope UMC.
He leaves behind a wife of sixty-eight years, Edna Louise Hege Conner of Lexington; two sons, Randy Conner, Danny Conner (Rebecca); a daughter, Renee Bellemore (Donald); and a brother, Jesse Conner all of Lexington. As well as seven grandchildren, Michelle Giles (Wendall), Lynn Satterwhite, Timothy Bartlett, Heather Bartlett, Aaron Conner, Kim Poole, and Karen Mauney; ten great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
