Harvey Winfield Hodge, Jr., 69, of Lexington, entered in the presence of Heaven, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born July 30, 1953, in Lexington, North Carolina, to Harvey Winfield Hodge, Sr. and Genivee (Jackson) Hodge.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents and his spouse Alice Milam Hodge.
Mr. Hodge leaves behind, one son, Steven Yarbrough (Angie) of Lexington, a daughter Renee Queen (Tony) of Lexington, a brother Terry Lee Hodge (Lisa) of Lexington, a sister Kathy Duke of Lexington, grandchildren Michael Trey Yarbrough, Kassie Ramsey (Thomas) and great- grandchildren Haylee, Johnny, Colton Ramsey, Corbin Michael and Oakley Mae Yarbrough. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
Harvey was in the transportation business as a truck driver and worked for EPPs and Billings trucking. He graduated from West Davidson High School. Mr. Hodge was a member of Charity Baptist Church. He enjoyed classis cars and nascar racing. He was also a Local 391 Teamsters Member.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 10:30am to 11:00am at Forest Hill Memorial Park Chapel and a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00am.
