Mr. Grady Leon Lynch, 70, died on Friday, November 1, 2018 at Accordius Health in Lexington. He was a native of Halifax County, North Carolina, born October 4, 1948, son to the late Grady and Martha Lynch. Preceding him in death are Johnny Lynch, one brother, and Richard Snowman, a son-in-law.
Grady attended Halifax County Schools. He retired from Merita Bakery where he worked as a baker in the Food Industry for many years.
Those left to cherish his memory are a wife of many years, Minnie Ann Owens Lynch; four sons, Jessie Lynch of Florida, Grady Lynch Jr. of Richmond VA, Moses Leonard of Tyro, and James Leonard of Mocksville. One daughter, Martha Snowman of Winston Salem; two step daughters, Debbie Jones and Angie House; three brothers, Michael Lynch, Toney Lynch, and Wayne Lynch all of Halifax County; two sister-in-laws, Barbara Harold of Tyro and Juanita Owens of Lexington. Fourteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephew survive.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation Services in Lexington from 3:00 until 4:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will begin immediately after at 4:00 PM, with the Rev. Timothy Sink officiating.
