Gladys Jean (Poe) Harrison

Gladys Jean Harrison, 74 died on July 27, 2019, in the comforts of her home with loved ones by her side. A native of Tazewell, VA, she was born June 19, 1945, a daughter to the late Charles Thomas Poe and Alice Delania Edwards Poe. She is preceded in death by parents, a husband, Silas James Harrison, three loved ones, Dale Clark, Pauline Goodman, and Helen Dunford.

Gladys was of Baptist faith. For more than ten years she worked in the retail business as sales associate at Wal-Mart.

Those left to cherish her memory two daughters, Jean Williams (Mike) of Mocksville, Connie Frances Harrison of Lexington; three sisters, Edith Hayth of New Mexico, Dorothy Elizabeth Morris of Denton, Frances Hoffner of Mt. Ulla; three grandchildren, Dylan Harrison, Stephen Tyler Harrison, and Lucas Payne Harrison.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Stoners Grove Baptist Church cemetery located on High Meadows Dr. in Lexington. David Gilbreath will be officiating.
