Gary Lee Lubarsky, 71, died on January 19, 2020 at his home in Davidson County. A native of Springfield, MA, a son to the late couple Edward Lubarsky and Eunice Lillian Zoosman Lubarsky. He was born on November 1, 1948. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Lubarsky and Neil Lubarsky.
Gary attended Largo School in Florida. He was a Veteran in the Army. He worked as a lineman in the food industry at Bost Bakery for six years. Gary was of the Baptist faith.
He leaves behind a loving wife of forty-eight years, Vanessa Dale Lubarsky; three sons, Donnie Lubarsky (Debbie) of New Bern, Rev. Jerry Lubarsky (Wanda), Jeromy Lubarsky (Brandi) both of Lexington; a brother, Robert Lubarsky and a sister Sandra Lawrence (Frankie) both of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and six grandchildren, Alyssa, Andrew, Emily, Kaylee, Hannah, and Allyson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held in the chapel of Davie Burial & Cremation in Lexington on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM with the service starting at 8:00 PM. A Committal Service be held at the National Cemetery in Salisbury on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM with full honors. Rev. Jerry Lubarsky officiating.
