Estel Lester

Estel Lester, age 75, of Lexington, N.C. passed away September 19,2021 at Russell County Hospital.

Mr. Lester was born on November 14,1945 in McDowell Co., WV., the son of Cleve Lester and Lucy Baker Lester.

Mr. Lester was a Coal Miner for thirty years. He attended West Virginia Schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleve and Lucy Lester, his beloved wife, Vadia Mae Mullett Lester, a son Rodney Lester, a daughter, Lucy Lynn Arrington, a sister, Waitty Dawson, and brothers, Curley and Oakley Lester.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Cleve Jr. Lester, Kenny Ray Lester. a brother, Herschel Lester, two sisters, Linda Stacey of Lexington, Doris Smith, grandchildren, Kathy Lester, Steven Lester, Estel Lee Lester, Brandon Arrington, Crystal Adams and Cavada Lester.   

Visitation and viewing will be Friday, September 24,2021 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Davie Burial & Cremations of Lexington Chapel.
