Dwayne Webster Livengood, 76, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center. Born October 8, 1941, in Davie County, he was the son of the late William and Lessie Snider Livengood. He was a graduate of West Davidson High School with the Class of 1960 and was self-employed in the furniture upholstery business.
He is survived by three daughters, Kim Ward (Kevin) of Lexington, Jennifer Goforth (Michael) of Troy and Tracey Falango of Elijay, GA; five grandchildren: Travis and Carley Sisson, Chelsea Strickland, Carson Ward and Jake Goforth; plus one great grandchild, Claire Sisson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Dub” Livengood, Jr. and Billy Jo Snider.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 2, at God’s Saving Grace Baptist Church on 9th Street in Lexington with Pastor Herman Powell officiating. The family will receive friends one-half hour prior to the time of service.
