Derrick Creed Bentley, 33, passed away on Tuesday August 9, 2022.
He was born January 26, 1989, in Richmond, VA to the late Creed Bentley and Donna Kaye Bentley.
Derrick was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Shirley Hamilton and Gary Gray and his fiance, Beverly.
Derrick leaves behind his three brothers, David Gould, Jeff Campbell, and Brent Finch; one sister, Felicia Jones (Stephen); grandmother, Carol Gary; grandfather, Jack Hamilton; four nieces, Kayla Jones (David), Alexis Jones, Aria Jones, and Alley Jones; seven nephews, Stephen Jones Jr (Chaela), Dawson Jones, Bryson Jones, Payton Jones, Christopher Jones, Cody McDaniels, and Dalton McDaniels.
He worked as a mechanic for the past four years. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved his nieces and nephews, loved reading the bible and quoting scriptures. He enjoyed working on scooters and dirt bikes.
The family will hold a graveside service for Derrick on Friday, August 19, 2022, at 2pm at Lexington City Cemetery.
