Della Marie (Laney) Phillips

Della Marie Laney Phillips, age 59 of Lexington, N.C. passed away July 25, 2020 at her Home.

Mrs. Phillips was born on August 21, 1960 in Davidson County, the daughter of Devero Laney and Edna Marie Reed Noone.   

Mrs. Phillips had worked in Retail Sales as a salesperson for Shumaker’s Furniture. She obtained her GED from Davidson County Community College.

She was preceded in death by her father, Devero Laney, and a brother, Frankie Laney.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dylan Phillips (Brooke) of Winston-Salem,  her mother, Edna Marie Reed Noone,, three brothers, Sammy Mickel (Missy) of Lexington, Connie Mickel of Welcome, Jimmy Mickel (Janie) of Florida and one grandchild Willow.

Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8 , 2020 at 2:00pm at Sheets Memorial Baptist Church, with a one hour visitation prior to the service.

Donations may be directed to Davie Burial and Cremations to assist with funeral expenses.
