David Lee Morris, (D-Boy), 35, of Lexington, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023.
He was born October 5, 1987, in Davidson County, NC, to Donna Cartrette Morris.
David in life was a general laborer in the woodworking industry. David had a love for drawing and had a soft spot for dogs, especially pit bulls.
David was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Morris, His Grandparents Auburn & Jean Cartrette, Kenneth & Helen Morris. Left to cherish his memory is his parents, Kenneth Morris of Lexington and Donna Morris (Robbie) of Lexington; a son, Leland Gage Morris; two brothers, Steven Morris and Dylan Harrison; one sister, Daphne Morris; his auntie, Kaye Cartrette (Paul) of Thomasville, and uncle’s Dale Cartrette (Belinda) and Kim Cartrette of Lexington. Nieces and Nephews, Makenna, Kaelean, Kae’veon, and Malaki.
The family will hold a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm in the Chapel of Davie Burial and Cremation of Lexington.
