Damian Roberts Obituary

Damian Charles Roberts age 26 of Lexington, N.C. passed away June 8, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Roberts was born July 28, 1995, in Davidson County, NC, to Stacey Charles Roberts and Lisa Jo Waitman Greenamyer.

Mr. Roberts attended Central Davidson High School. He was Manager of Domimo’s Pizza. Damian loved talking with his brother-in-law, Justin about cars and all things mechanical. He had a special place in his heart for all things nature and he loved animals. He had two cats, Cheeto and Cat and two dogs Dixie and Bull. Damian loved the water and the outdoors.

Mr. Roberts leaves behind his parents Stacey Roberts and Lisa Greenamyer, two sisters Chasity Roberts, and Dacota Murphy of Lexington, his grandparents, Virginia Ginger Leonard and Ed Leonard of Lexington and O’Dell and Donna Roberts of West Virginia,  aunts and uncles, Johnny and Angie Milner and Warren and Crystal Olive as well as his family outside his family. Damian loved his adoptive brother Dylan Lawson, his momma J. and she loved him as if he were her own child. Damian loved his other adoptive brother PJ, and was always keeping up with him no matter what. Damian loved his adoptive sister, Allison and cherished the special relationship they had. Damian always had a special place in his heart for his first love, Claudia. Damian will truly be missed by all those, close and far that knew him. He truly was a light in a dark world and we will forever miss him. Anyone who knew him was blessed not only with his presence but just with knowing him.

His mama, Lisa, was his rock, she stood by him no matter what. His battle was her battle until the very end. Damian’s best friend, Travis Scott Lambeth, was always there to help Damian whenever he needed it, we would like to thank Travis for always being there and for being the friend that he was to Damian. Damian loved his ginger (mawmaw), they have a relationship like no other, they understood each other in a way no one else ever could. They were always laughing and never shared a dull moment. Damian looked up to his dad, Stacy, and he always knew his dad was there for him no matter what. Damian was so proud of his baby sister, Dacota, and all of her accomplishments. He was always asking her when she was gonna be finished with college, he was so eager to see her accomplish all of her dreams. Damian was awaiting the birth of his first nephew who is due this month to his other baby sister, Chasity.

The family wants to thank everyone for all the condolences, prayers and memories you all have shared with us. We would not have made it through this without each and every one of you. If you knew Damian, you know that his smile would light up a room the moment he entered. He truly never met a stranger, even when he was meeting someone for the first time; You would’ve thought they’d known each other for years. Damian always helped anyone he could in any way that he could, he had a heart of gold that was just too good for the world. Damian loved his family and loved when they were all together.

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by our home and offered your company. You are all more than welcome to keep visiting us. Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts.
