Dalton “Billy” Paul McDonald, age 74, passed away on June 12, 2020 at Clapps Nursing Home in Asheboro, N.C.
Mr. McDonald was born on February 2, 1946 in Wake County, a son of the late James Dalton McDonald and Bonnie Lee McKenzie McDonald.
Mr. McDonald worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for more than thirty years as a conductor which led to his interest in trains He was also a police offcier for two and a half years, for the Raleigh Police Dept. He attended Enlowe High School and Wake Technical College. He also served our country in the Marine Corp.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of fifty five years, Kathy Wood Carter McDonald and one daughter, Morgan Katy McDonald of Asheboro.
There are no funeral service scheduled at this time.
