Charles Boyd Garrison of Linwood, passed away March 29, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.
Mr. Garrison was born September 9, 1956, in Davidson County, North Carolina to Earnest Boyd Garrison and Shirley Janice Fritts Garrison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jamie Denise Van Buskirk; and one sister, Dawn Johnson.
Mr. Garrison graduated from West Davidson High School and worked for 30 years, with Mannington Flooring of High Point, in the Maintance Department. He was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Lexington. He loved being outdoors, hunting and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids.
Left to cherish his memory is a son, Brandon “Boo” Garrison (Emily); two daughters, Amanda Story (Jon) and Samantha Freeman (Joseph); two sisters, Nancy Ellenburg (Brian) and Shirley James (Melvin); six grandchildren, Payton (Taylor), Jake (Makayla), Bryson, Corbin, Jameson, Declan; and one great grandchild, Nolan.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Faye Paquin, Bruce and Nancy Beck, JC Gass, and all the staff at Wellcare Hospice, especially, Joanna, Kyle, Kelby, and Paula.
The family will have a Celebration of Life Memorial Service, on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 4:00pm Freedom Baptist Church, with Preacher Clyde Akers, officiating. The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service on Monday, April 3, 2023, at the church.
