Carrie Lucille (Sapp) Baisden

Carrie Lucille Sapp Baisden, age 82, of Lexington passed away on October 13, 2022 at the Hinkle Hospice House here in Lexington.

Mrs. Baisden was born on September 10, 1940 in Boone County, WV. to George Edward Sapp and Carrie Mae Chambers Sapp.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, King Sapp.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of sixty-two years Leon Kelly Baisden, two daughters Sherri Ann Baisden of Columbia Station, Ohio, Deborah Lou Baisden Whitfield (Mike) of Welcome, NC; one brother, Kenneth Sapp of Ohio, one sister in Christ, Faye Wilson, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mrs. Baisden attended West High School in Ohio. She was housewife and a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was an ordained minister. She was member of Psalm 91 Church where she was Intercessory Prayer Warrior and attended the traveling ministries.

The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Psalm 91 church.  A Celebration of Life service will take place at the church at 2pm, with the burial following the service in the church cemetery.
