Carolyn Rae (Smith) Myers

Carolyn Rae Smith Myers, age 86, of Lexington passed away on April 1, 2021.

Mrs. Myers was born on May 30, 1934 in Davidson County to the late Jesse Lee and Mamie Wicks Smith. She attended Lexington Senior High and was a nurse with Lexington Healthcare for 20 years.  She enjoyed gardening, being a nurse, nature and loved her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Lee. and Mamie wicks Smith, and her Husband, Harold Myers.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Gail Roseberry (Peyton) of Lexington and Cindy Burleson (Barry) and five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Freedom Baptist Church from 12:30 – 1:00pm. Service to follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Clyde Akers officiating. Internment will be at 2:00pm at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
