Bobby Ray Fortner

Bobby Ray Fortner Sr., age 64, of Lexington, N.C. passed away August 7, 2020 at Hospice of High Point.

Mr. Fortner was born on August 2, 1956 in Iredell County, NC. the son of the late Carl Junior Fortner and Beatrice Addock Fortner.

Mr. Fortner worked in the manufacturing industry as an operator for Carolina Container for seven years. He graduated from Lexington Senior School.  .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beatrice  Fortner.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Brenda Lee Everhart Fortner,  one son, Bobby Ray Fortner Jr., of Lexington, two daughters, Donna Melissa Perrell (Michael), of Lexington,  Jessica Ann Fortner of Lexington, three sisters, Phyllis Green (Ronnie) of Salisbury, Lisa Valladares of Lexington, Sheila Hairston (Stokes) of Lexington, one brother, Mike Fortner  (Amanda) of Lexington,  nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Davie Burial and Cremations to assist with funeral expenses.
