Billy Ray Moore Jr.

Billy Ray Moore Jr, 65, of Lexington, North Carolina passed away on August 30, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Moore was born December 11, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama, to Billy Ray Moore Sr and Mary Frances Smith Moore. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Moore worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry.  He was dedicated and faithful member of Heaven’s Gate Full Gospel Church, where is faithfully served as a Deacon.  

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Donna F Moore; one brother, Darrell Moore (Dee); two sisters, Kelly Caldwell (Tom) and Joyce Thompson.

The family will have a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 2:00pm, at Heaven’s Gate Full Gospel Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Mr. Moore will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Memorial Park, immediately following the service.

The family asks that memorials/donations be made to Heaven’s Gate Full Gospel Church, in Mr. Moore’s honor.
